Ranked Play Fixes and Weapon Balances
For all my Ranked Play grinders, this update was much needed! The final February 2025 update has adjusted some of the buy COD BO6 CP most frustrating issues in Ranked matches.
First, footstep audio has been improved. Previously, enemy footsteps were way too quiet, leading to unfair deaths. Now, sound cues are louder and more directional.
Weapon tuning was also a big focus. The M4A1 received a slight recoil nerf, making it less of a laser beam. Meanwhile, the AK-74u got a buff, improving mobility and fire rate. Expect to see more SMG play in Ranked!
The most controversial change? Slide-canceling has been slightly tweaked. Players now have a small delay after canceling a slide, making movement less abusable. Some players love it, while others say it ruins high-level play.
